Peruvian treats and more...

Born in Lima, Peru, Eliana grew up surrounded by traditional Peruvian flavors crafted daily by her mother. Though she never took formal cooking classes, her role as District Sales Manager for a major American gastronomy brand kept her close to the culinary world.

After moving to the U.S., Eliana pursued her passion for baking while earning a Business Administration degree and working full-time as a banker. In 2011, she founded Sweets by Deliciosa Inc., specializing in artisanal Peruvian Alfajores and custom cakes.

Eliana became the first — and only — Peruvian dessert artisan to successfully enter Amazon, a platform known for being difficult to break into and sell food on; not only did she enter, but she also maintains an excellent rating, bringing authentic Peruvian flavors nationwide.

Now, at her store The Icing House in Hazle Township, PA, she infuses traditional Peruvian flavors into a wide variety of desserts, including Susurro Quebranta, which was part of the winning team at the latest Embassy Chef Challenge in Washington, DC. This exclusive dessert place caters to discerning palates, both American and Hispanic.

Her signature cornstarch Alfajores remain a beloved tribute to her homeland — each bite a sweet memory and invitation to savor one more.
And now, Eliana invites you to order your favorite desserts straight to your door — made with the professional touch and perfect flavors of Peru.
